Wrapping Up 2024: Reflections and Plans

2024 was a year full of change and opportunities, new experiences and new friendships, and diverse projects through which I grew professionally. Looking back, I can hardly believe how much I managed to do in just one year:

Beyound Burnout

I started the year exhausted after launching a very large website. A few days off weren’t enough. I pushed myself and watched severe burnout develop over the course of about three months—until my brain simply shut down and anxiety set in. A longer break followed, during which I reevaluated my direction, my services, and my way of doing business. I stepped away from many collaborations, started working on a product idea (Kadence Templates), and found a new direction to focus on (accessibility).

Accountability Partnership Friendship

This year, having a close friend as an accountability partner made a huge difference for me. Every week—or sometimes every two weeks—we checked in and shared what we had managed to work on, what we hadn’t, and why. It’s an especially effective approach when there’s no external pressure. Saying things out loud makes your brain much more engaged in finding solutions and following through on the commitments you’ve made.

Projects:

Tools

  • WordPress Themes & Builders: Kadence Theme & Blocks și Elementor
  • I’ve started to learn and work with Greyd.Suite – a suite of tools based on Core WordPress and accessibility features enhances. AI în daily workflow: ChatGPT for brainstorming, Perplexity for how-to, Claude for code editing, Grammarly editing English phrases.
  • MicroAnalytics as a replacement for Google Analytics.

A new area I’ve grown passionate about: Web Accessibility

New paths for 2025

Creatibility – is my new brand I’ll use for accessibility services:

  • white-label web development,
  • accessible templates (Kadence & Greyd),
  • accessibility consultancy.

2024 was a full year, filled with challenges, lessons, and achievements that transformed me both professionally and personally. Every project completed, every connection made, and every moment of reflection brought me closer to the direction I want to grow in: Creatibility, a space where creativity and accessibility meet to build better digital experiences.

Looking ahead to 2025, I aim to continue growing this brand, collaborate with people who share the same values, and contribute to a more accessible internet for everyone. At the same time, I want to find balance between work and rest, between projects and meaningful relationships, so I can grow harmoniously in all areas.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this year—clients, colleagues, friends, and family. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store!
